Black Sands Soy Candle

A refreshing yet woody scented candle with the crisp, clean top notes of clary sage and black pepper, blended with a heart of warming coriander, amber and musk, resting on an earthy base of Haitian sandalwood. Our Projects hand blend and pour all their candles in their London studio, using natural blends of essential oils, aroma accords and resins and vegan soy wax.

Our Projects was created with the aim of connecting people back to the value of craft and community traditions, whilst having a minimal impact on the world around us. Founder Kate Wildblood has cultivated her deep inspiration from time lived in Bali, Vietnam and India into a collection that is designed to transport you around the world through scent. Recognising the powerful connection between cognitive function and the olfactory system, each ingredient has been carefully selected for its unique properties.

Although the glass packaging appears black, it is in fact biophotonic Violetglass, chosen to protect the ingredients form the harmful effects of light, energising their organic molecules and revitalising their potency. 

Prior to each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4" for a clean and smoke-free burn. On your first light, allow the entire surface of wax to melt. Never let your candle burn for more than 4 hours. After each burn, ensure the wick is centred, adjust the wick while the wax is still molten. Always protect the surface upon which the candle sits.

Burn time approximately 45-50 hours.
