Palm of Feronia's Black Earth Detox Mask is a clarifying facial mask made with three key active ingredients designed to soothe, purify and detoxify the skin. Fullers Earth clay - mineral-rich volcanic ash aged in sea beds, used as far back as Ancient Mesopotamia – is blended with absorbing activated charcoal and nettle powder, an ingredient with astringent, anti-inflammatory properties that aid in decongesting and calming active acne.

Palm of Feronia is a small-batch natural self-care brand focused on the ancient principles of aromatherapy and crystal healing. Feronia is the ancient Roman goddess associated with wildlife, fertility, health, healing, and abundance.

Founded by Sophia Harding, Palm of Feronia was brought together through a passion for clean, organic, and earth-derived ingredients with a proven history of positive effects for not only the skin, but emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. Each oil, plant water, or mineral is carefully sourced for sustainability and maximum therapeutic effect. Naturally vegan, cruelty free and unspoiled, each product is hand-blended in small batches in the south east of England.

Take a spoonful and activate with water, toner or your favourite moisturiser or oil to create a smooth paste. You can also mix with honey for a soothing antibacterial blend or organic yoghurt to benefit from mild lactic acid. Start with a single drop or two of liquid and work upwards - you'll need less than you think. 

Apply to the face and relax for ten minutes. Keep the mask damp whilst on the skin to avoid sensitivity and dehydration - steam whilst in the bath, spritz with water, or use our Neroli Citrine Facial Tonic to avoid drying. Alternatively rest a warm, damp cloth on top of the mask. Wipe away with a hot, wet cloth. Use once a week or as needed. Our larger jar will provide around 10-12 full face masks and the smaller will provide around 3, depending on how thick you like to apply.

Remember to keep the jar away from humidity and never introduce liquids such as a wet spoon to the jar in order to keep a longer shelf-life. Each of our products has at least a 12-month shelf life if stored correctly. Please store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or sunlight.
